about me
I have been a designer and illustrator for over a decade since I graduated from Pratt Institute in 2007. My earliest experiences were as a child living on a sailboat with my family, stringing seashells to make necklaces, or endlessly drawing in my sketchbook. I'm fascinated by the concept of self-adornment, and the idea that since the beginning of human history people have defined and expressed themselves by the symbols they wear. I like to think I'm part of that tradition, creating designs that are wearable and beautiful for the modern woman.
I draw the most inspiration from the natural world around me. The colors and forms and shapes never fail to fill me with creativity and awe. As an adult I’ve become a passionate hiker, roaming from the volcanoes of Hawaii and Central America, to the jagged peaks of West Texas. I’ve been so fortunate to travel to many magical places. But in the end, Vermont is my spirit’s home, and I’m filled with joy to be back amongst the mist and the trees, and the endlessly beautiful Green Mountains.
